The information on this blog is for my own personal use (and for my daughter a number of years down the road when she's ready and willing to take over the Z I've built for us :) For this reason I have chosen not to make this blog searchable by google. So if you happened to find this blog, that's because you're one of my facebook friends who actually did look up my profile and got triggered by the s30.eu link :)
I've spent lots of time researching mainly hybridz.org and Skylinesaustralia and this is a compilation of the most important info (to me at least) in order to do these mods (in the near future).
So I'm not claiming that I've (re)invented the wheel. All these mods I'm planning to do, have been done a dozen times before. Though I am a fully qualified aircraft engineer and have an engineering degree, I have no time nor the opportunities to do my own research and development. If I'd have the money, time, tools and space, sure! But for now I look for good ideas, options, assess these on feasibility, and decide what would work for me.
I try to give step by step instructions and descriptions incl. part numbers, prices, links etc. So if you've been walking around with the idea of restoring or hybridiZing a Z and you're a noob (like me), you may get a good idea what you're gonna get yourself into :)
Enjoy! (I know I do, did and have done so)
