Replacement brakelines will be 3/16" with Japanese M10x1 tube nuts on them.

Additional parts

To install the Wilwood brake proportioning valve I'd need the following:

The stock pressure regulating valve will be replaced with the Wilwood BPV. Consensus is that it's not a good idea to have the stock regulating valve (trying to) regulate the pressure as well.
The Wilwood BPV simply installs somewhere in the rear brake line (#5), in my case such that it'll be accessible from the cockpit cuz it should be possible to adjust pressure on the track. What the BPV in simple terms does is limit/increase pressure to the rear brakes. For more detailed info, check this white paper out.

Increasing braking power

Here's a pretty good description on how brake boosters work.

Like all other parts exposed to road salt and the elements, the handbrake cable has turned into a string of rust.

Sourcing an OEM or similar replacement was either very expensive ($280 from MSA) or impossible. Your options are to do a 300ZX (Z32) or '91-'94 240SX handbrake conversion, or try to make the universal Lokar handbrake cable work.

But...while browsing thru Rockauto.com's inventory, I discovered this 280Z Raybestos BC92952 cable for less than $58. It looks pretty much like that of the 240Z. Haven't been able to figure out the exact differences but making it fit can't be as much work as doing a Z32 or other conversion.

But in the meantime I also ebayed this Z32 front cable for $10, just in case the 280Z cable wouldn't work out :)
